XP-44 Yacht

We’re proud to see our revolutionary fouling release technology gaining traction in the U.S. market. During the recent painting season, our North American distributor, SeaWide, in collaboration with Valet Yacht Service, had the opportunity to apply Hempasil Pro, our hydrogel-based, biocide-free fouling release coating to one of their client’s XP-44 yacht.

Paired with Nexus II, a dual-purpose conversion primer/tiecoat, this system is designed for pro applicators who demand results. Hempasil Pro delivers a smooth, polished surface with exceptional self-cleaning and fouling release properties. 

Compared to traditional antifoulings, it offers up to 6% fuel savings immediately upon re-entering the water, highlighting Hempel’s commitment to fuel efficiency and sustainable performance.
