CFO Anders Boyer resigns and leaves Hempel by 31st July 2018

Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Anders Boyer, has decided to leave Hempel and join Pandora. Anders has been with Hempel since May 2016 and he will leave his position at 31 July 2018 or earlier if his successor has joined Hempel before end of July.

Henrik Andersen says:

“It is with deep regret that we received Anders resignation. After almost two years as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, with impressive results, Anders has accepted a unique opportunity to join Pandora. He has done an outstanding job establishing a strong global finance function that has allowed us to accelerate our Journey to Excellence. He is also a valuable member of the Executive Management Board, and we will miss him as a colleague and friend. We wish him the very best in his new position”.

“Anders has done a tremendous job driving the compliance agenda. On behalf of the Board of Directors and myself, I would like to thank him for his outstanding contribution to Hempel. It is never easy to see a trusted senior leader leaving us, but I am confident that the Executive Management Team headed by our Group CEO Henrik Andersen will remain focused and continue delivering successfully on our Journey to Excellence and keep expanding Hempel globally”, says Richard Sand.

The search for Anders successor will be initiated immediately and we will communicate as soon as we have concluded on the search process.
