A good rule of thumb during your job search

While recruitment fraud is rare, we encourage all candidates to stay informed and alert throughout their job search. Occasionally, scammers may pose as employers and reach out via email or social media in an attempt to collect sensitive personal information, request payment for equipment, or ask for money to continue a fraudulent recruitment process.
At Hempel, we always use a single domain for email communication (example@hempel.com). Interviews are conducted either face-to-face or virtually by Hempel employees, never through chat platforms or text-based messages.
This means you can trust that Hempel will never ask for payments or fees as part of the hiring process and will never request banking or other financial information before issuing an official employment offer.
