Description
Hempel's Antifouling Sonic 79970 is a premium high solids chemically hydrolysing silyl acrylate antifouling. It provides superior hull protection against fouling showing very low friction and predictable polishing with minimal activation time for best-in-class performance. Hempel's Antifouling Sonic 79970 ensures minimal speed loss over time and offers great potential for fuel savings and reduced carbon emissions. Hempel's Antifouling Sonic 79970 comes with Hempel's Smartfiber technology which gives an unmatched mechanical strength to avoid cracking and peelings. This product does not contain organotin compounds acting as biocides and complies with the International Convention on the Control of Harmful Antifouling Systems on Ships as adopted by IMO October 2001 (IMO documents AFS/CONF/26).
Recommended use
For both new buildings and maintenance of underwater hull and boottop for up to 90 months drydocking interval. It can be used in all global sailing patterns, coastal and freshwater or seawater exposure in outfitting conditions.
