Hempafire Optima is a high-performance range of waterborne intumescent coatings that helps protect steel structures while improving productivity and sustainability. Delivering up to 180 minutes of certified fire protection and C3 interior corrosion protection, it enables faster project completion through fewer coats, faster drying times, and reduced paint consumption.

Hempafire Optima 515 and Hempafire Optima 510 are among the most efficient waterborne passive fire protection coatings available. Their high solids content and fast drying properties enables most steel sections to achieve the required fire protection rating in just two coats within a single working shift, while supporting both on-site and off-site application.

    The Hempafire Optima range are tested to BS476 and EN 13381-8 standards and certified by ApplusFire, providing recognised and trusted fire protection for steel structures.
