Susanna Schneeberger, Konecranes, Executive Vice President, and Søren P. Olesen, Stark Group, CEO, are elected to the Board of Directors of Hempel A/S on 6 April 2018.
Two new members of the Board of Directors of Hempel A/S were elected at the Annual General Meeting of Hempel A/S on 6 April. Both new members have extensive top management experience and make significant results in their respective businesses.

They will play an important part in the board’s continued efforts to ensure strong growth and support the top management’s transformation of Hempel.” says Richard Sand, Chairman of the Board.
Susanna Schneeberger is an international sales and marketing executive with leadership experience from industrial companies like Trelleborg, Terex and Konecranes, and prior to that in IT and management consulting. Susanna is currently part of the executive board at Konecranes and Managing Director of Demag Cranes & Components GmbH.
Søren P. Olesen has extensive experience and knowledge from the paint industry as the former CEO of Flügger. He also brings international experience from the building material industry and has held senior leadership positions with Stark and Velux. Today he is the CEO of Stark Group, which is the largest Nordic distributor of building materials with a turnover of close to EUR 2.5 billion and 6000 employees.
The new members of the board of Hempel A/S replace Anders Pettersson and Peder Holk Nielsen, who, for the past 13 and 12 years respectively, have made outstanding contributions in developing Hempel A/S to a growing global company. Anders Pettersson and Peder Holk Nielsen decided not to run for re-election in order to make room for new forces to join the Board of Directors.

The new Board of Directors has been constituted with Richard Sand as Chairman and Eric Alström as Deputy Chairman.
