Hempafire XTR 100

Description

Hempafire XTR 100 is a two-component epoxy based intumescent coating that provides passive fire protection of structural steel against hydrocarbon pool fires.

Recommended use

As intumescent fire protection for the structural steel used in onshore oil & gas facilities, petrochemical plants and the power generation sector that require protection against hydrocarbon pool fires.

A UL 1709-certified hydrocarbon passive fire protection coating

Hempafire XTR 100 is used in oil & gas facilities to protect people and assets against hydrocarbon pool and jet fires. Tested & certified to UL 1709 and ISO 22899-1, it delivers up to 4.5 hours of fire protection at low dry film thicknesses, improving safety and reducing overall project costs.

    Hempafire XTR 100 can be applied to both modular and stick-build constructions on structural steel, pipe racks and vessel supports – with mesh reinforcement only required around section flanges. This reduces project complexity and ensures easier application, both onsite and in the yard. In addition, mesh-free application is possible up to and including 60 minutes, reducing installation time and complexity.

  • Increase your in-shop productivity
    Hempafire XTR 100 can be applied to both modular and stick-build constructions on structural steel, pipe racks and vessel supports – with mesh reinforcement only required around section flanges. A full 2-hour PFP system can be applied in one working day, increasing throughput and applicator productivity.
