Hempadur SeamFLow
Description
Hempadur SeamFlow is a specialized epoxy material with very high sag resistance and good flowability. This product is designed especially to be applied around welding seams on the underwater area of ship hulls, and as such it has excellent resistance to prolonged immersion as well as cracking. The product is part of the complete solution which helps achieve a smooth dry-dock operation for smooth welding seams and smoother sailing.
Recommended use
Hempadur SeamFlow is for use as a fairing material around welding seams on underwater hull areas using specialised equipment, in order to reduce drag and improve the overall vessel performance by allowing smooth flow of water over the faired welding seams. The product can be easily accommodated in the dry-docking schedule, and if planned well, it does not require any additional days for a smooth yard operation.
