Hempaline Defend 640 Cure 72
Description
Hempaline Defend 640 is a solvent free high performance glass flake novolac epoxy lining with excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals and solvents. The product is designed to be a single coat application. When used in accordance with API 653 and API 652 guidelines as a thick film reinforced lining, allows for at least 15 years initial inspection interval.
Recommended use
As a high performance tank lining for the storage of a wide range of petrochemicals including (but not limited to) crude oil up to 120°C [250°F], MTBE, produced water, alcohols, aromatic and aliphatic solvents, aviation fuels, gasoline blends, select acidic and caustic chemicals. The product is reinforced with a glass flake filler which reduces permeability while enhancing the lining's mechanical properties and chemical resistance, making it a preferred choice for areas subject to impact and abrasion. Only the following shades are available for chemical resistance/lining applications: 10000 (white), 36641 (light blue), 49500 (pastel green). Refer to cpg.hempel.com for full details.
