Are you able to conclude on analysis and develop professional reports for Executive- and Senior Management stakeholders?
If so, then you could be the one we are looking for to help drive product portfolio excellence at Hempel

Job profile:
As Portfolio Analyst you will play an important role in analysing and reporting on our product development pipeline and newly launched solutions. You will be responsible for enabling a fact based foundation for management decision and prioritisation, and drive the development of new tools for our new product development process. Finally, you drive reporting on strategic product solution KPIs and take ownership of our portfolio management system to keep data and the system structure updated.

You will be based in Lyngby and become part of the international Product & Portfolio Management team.

Key responsibilities:
Your key activities include:

  • Ensure and develop solid reporting on product development pipeline and in the market new solutions
  • Management reporting on product development pipeline for decision making and prioritisation
  • Work with the new product development project managers to ensure data accuracy and consistency. This includes training and support in correct use of our systems
  • Maintain existing- and development of new tools and procedures related to the new product development processes and support the implementation

You will work closely with among others the Product & Portfolio Management team, Group and regional Marketing as well as Research & Development.

Qualifications and skills:
The ideal candidate could come from an analytical position in Finance e.g. as controller, business analyst or similar where you now want to get closer to the business. You could be working with portfolio analysis or come from another relevant analytical position where you have proven your ability to build fact based reporting and analysis.

Professional qualifications:

  • You can turn analysis into professional decision-making material – based on state-of-the-art principles
  • You have a higher degree education at minimum B.Sc. level
  • You master excel at expert level and preferably, PowerPoint and SharePoint solutions at super user level
  • You have excellent English communication skills written and verbally
  • It will be considered an advantage, if you have proven competences within portfolio management analytics and tools building

Personal qualifications:

  • You are highly analytical and fact based
  • You are a do’er with excellent time management skills
  • You have a high degree of quality orientation and sense for the details as your work will be presented for Executive Managers
  • You are a strong communicator towards all levels of the organisation
  • You have good interpersonal/ social skills and fine cross cultural awareness,
  • You are proactive and results driven
