Dynamics AX Consultant

The job
You will be a part of the project team that is responsible for implementing the company’s Microsoft Dynamics AX solution globally.

The solution will cover 1,000 users, and you will be the link between business and IT. The main responsibility of the position will be to ensure successful implementation of the Finance module.

Besides playing an active role in making the implementation a success, you will also be involved in planning, analysis and change management activities. The position will require extensive travel activity in the range of 150 days a year.

Your main tasks will consist of:

• Definition and implementation of Dynamics AX within your area of expertise
• Ensure best practices for Dynamics AX are being implemented
• Analyse, create and document business processes and workflow
• Evaluate, prioritise and document change requests and develop system documentation
• Test of the solution and future releases
• End-user training and creation of relevant training material and ad hoc support
• Support and partner with the Project Manager

Qualifications and skills
As an ideal candidate you have solid knowledge of the various business processes being able to understand the mechanism behind the needs of the functional areas. You have “drive” and take responsibly of your assignments and you are able to communicate well across different cultures.

You will have strong and solid experience, and preferably certified, in Dynamics AX with focus on the Sales module. It will be considered an advantage if you have a working knowledge of other AX modules.  You are fluent in English – verbal as well as in writing.
