Coating Advisor

Location: North East Italy

Job profile:
As a Coating Advisor, reporting directly to the Technical Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and service to customers in order to solve technical issues as required and as agreed regarding paint application.

You will also be a part of further development of the department; finding ways to make the procedures more effective.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing pre-sales and /or post-sales technical support to customers, including testing and maintaining products, equipment and services
  • Evaluating and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs
  • Monitoring and resolving recurring problems to ensure on-going customer satisfaction
  • Training customers on the features and application of the products they purchase, if needed
  • Providing support to sales force in regards to the technical aspects of the company’s products and / or services
  • Ensuring completion of needed reports

Qualifications and skills:

  • University degree or equivalent in Chemistry would be valuable
  • Previous experience as a technical service representative would be valuable
  • FROSIO/NACE certification preferably but not obligatory
  • Knowledge of the paint sector preferably
  • Proficient in English
  • High computer skills (MS programs)
